Hi folks,
The subject says it all. Is anyone using one, or knows of one, please respond.
I highly recommend LiveJournal. I've been using it for seven years and truly love it. Alot has changed but their accessibility is pretty much unbeatable. Almost everything is text-based. You do get some ads on the site, ifyou're a + member and not a paid member, but they're not obtrusive and they're based on your interests. Plus, they have all sorts of communities to join and you can make entries public, friends-only or private.
Yup I love live journal. Also try blogspot.com
lj is good, but what i found thru out the years is that it have its own limatation, and it is not mainstream enough. most blindies are there, which not a problem, but, it sometime, is something that is not professional enough. most people treate it like an online diary and post rubbish out there. which make the whole thing somewhat teeny and immature. if you want to be a late teen, or college student, by all means, join lj. if not, want your blog have a touch of professionalism, i would suggest the following...
try blogspot.com, they are good, and accessable to use too.
also google blogs.
i've some blind friends use world press, its great, more to so that you can actually customise your own there, like you buildling the website using their server, and its absolutely free.
good luck
cheers
also, if you use blogspot, you can pretty much sign in using a gmail account, if you have one. so, thats the advantage there, of not going thru the process of signing up etc etc.
i use live journal, more often use the lj client lock journal, i used to use insane journal, but that was years ago in highschool. as well as journalspace, i don't think that exists anymore, but it was good...
